  • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese
  • 4 Ounces Sour Cream
  • 10 Green Onions scallions
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper or Paprika

Instructions

  • Heat a pan on high. Add half the chopped green onions and all the garlic.
  • Saute till the green onions and garlic are charred.
  • In a blender or a food processor, add the cream cheese, sour cream, cayenne pepper, charred green onions, charred garlic, lemon juice, salt, and the rest of the fresh green onions.
  • Blend till the dip turns light green. Check the taste and adjust if needed.
  • If possible, refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving.

Store this dip in an air tight container for 5-6 days.
Make sure to cover the dip, otherwise all your other stuff in the fridge will smell of cooked onions. (Been there, done that..multiple times..)
I do not recommend freezing the dip as the texture changes way too much. But if you have to freeze leftover dip, you will need
