Pre heat the air fryer at 350F or 180 C degrees for 3-4 minutes.
Method -1 with Peel
Slit the banana lenghtwise.See the video to understand more.
Remove the basket. Place the banana in.
Air fry for 8-10 minutes.
Remove using tongs or a flat spatula.
Place it on a plate, add your favourite toppings and enjoy.
Method 2- Sliced Bananas
Peel and slice the bananas.
Sprinkle cinnamon, sugar and brush with butter or clarified butter or ghee.
Air fry for 12-15 minutes till the banana is golden and caramelized.
Add peanut butter and granola or Ice cream and Enjoy!

This is also a great way to ripen your bananas if you are in the mood to make banana bread and the bananas are not ripe enough.
It makes for a great evening snack, especially for children, like an instant dessert without having those pesky preservatives and whatnots.
You can also add these caramelized bananas on top of your breakfast porridge, oats, pancakes.I also have a wonderful banana nutella crepes recipe where I sometimes swap ripe bananas with this caramelized bananas.
