Spicy Italian Puttanesca Sauce with tomato,olives and Capers

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Grated Tomatos
  • 2 tablespoon Chopped Black Olives
  • 2 tablespoon Chopped Capers
  • 4-5 Large Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoon Chilli Flakes
  • 1 Anchovie Fillet-chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 Pinch Black Pepper
  • Handfull Fresh herbs-Basil and Thyme
  • Salt to Taste

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a a pan.
  • Add chopped Garlic,capers,olives,anchovies,dried parsley. Saute well.
  • Just before adding the tomatoes add the chilli flakes.
  • Next Add in the grated tomatoes.Cook for 2-4 minutes.
  • Once the tomatoes are cooked and the sauce has thickened add the fresh herbs.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
